Pokemon summary
Shadow
Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokémon. When an Eevee has had sufficient training and is exposed to moonlight, it evolves into an Umbreon. When darkness falls, the rings on the body begin to glow, striking fear in the hearts of anyone nearby.
Trainer: Sheik (sheikahguide)

Nature: Quiet
Ability: Synchronize
Item: Soothe Bell (worn on a black collar along with a registration tag to show he's RTF-approved)
Favourite flavours: Dry
Least favourite flavours: Sweet
Moves: Confuse Ray, Faint Attack, Dark Pulse, Flash
Sheik's main Pokemon, and his favourite, Shadow is the one he'd most likely have walking with him (unless he's actively training another). He recieved Shadow as an Eevee from Zelda when he left the lab, and deliberately aiming for an Umbreon, chose to train him exclusively at night. It paid off - after a couple of months of TLC and training, Shadow evolved into an Umbreon. Now, he's the strongest of Sheik's team, and is still... completely spoilt rotten. He evolved at night, enroute between Olivine City and Ecruteak City.
Dusk
Absol, the Disaster Pokémon. Absol live in steep mountainous regions, and rarely venture down into areas inhabited by humans, but should an Absol be seen by humans, it is said that catastrophe is soon to follow. It sharply senses even subtle changes in the sky and the land to predict natural disasters. It is a long-lived Pokémon that has a life-span of 100 years.

His newest Pokemon partner, since joining the RTF, Dusk is new to his group. One of two, she was rescued from a situation where she was set to be killed - there are many suspicions regarding Absols, and she was almost a victim to them. Instead, she's been working with the RTF, and has now been assigned to Sheik.
Leaf
Meganium, the Herb Pokémon. Meganium's breath has the power to revive dead grass and plants, and the fragrance emanating from its flower petals could soothe any angry, hostile emotions.

Item: Miracle Seed (held in woven grass pouch around his neck, hidden by his flower)
Favourite flavours: Bitter
Least favourite flavours: Spicy
Moves: Petal Dance, Light Screen, Solar Beam, Cut
Sheik's starter, evolved from the Chikorita he got at the age of twelve. It's been his companion for a very long time, and although he has been largely replaced by Shadow at this point, Sheik is still very fond of him. Leaf evolved into Bayleef during his battle against Falkner, and into Meganium when training in the Ice Path.
Bacon
Piloswine, the Swine Pokémon and the evolved form of Swinub. Piloswine's entire body is covered with fur, which makes it hard to see, so it uses its nose to sense its environment instead. Its tusks of ice thicken when it snows.

Bacon is, quite frankly, a surprising favourite of Sheik's. While most trainers overlooked the football-shaped Swinub, Sheik became rather fond of his while they were training to take on Clair, and the now-Piloswine is another that he usually keeps in his team. He evolved in training, shortly before battling Clair.
Houndoom
Houndoom, the Dark Pokémon. The evolved form of Houndour. Houndoom's eerie howl is said to cause those who hear it to shudder in fear. If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away. Upon hearing its eerie howls, other Pokémon get the shivers and head straight back to their nests.

Item: Charcoal (fireproof pouch made of woven metal fibers around her neck)

Pup is one of Sheik's newer Pokemon - he found her as a Houndour a few months before travelling to Bohren in the Safari Zone, and has since focused on training her almost exclusively. Now, she's nearly as strong as the Meganium he's had since he was twelve, and a part of his main party. Pup evolved from Houndour during his training in western Johto.
Biri
Flaaffy, the Wool Pokémon. Flaaffy builds up electricity in its thick coat of fur, but is uneffected by it thanks to its rubber-like skin. As a result of storing too much electricity, it developed patches where even downy wool won't grow.

Moves: Tackle, Growl, Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave
Sheik has had Biri for a long time - since he battled Falkner - although she's since spent a lot of time in a PC box. After claiming the eighth badge, focusing on training with a wider range of types, he reintroduced her to his team, picking up on her training again. She evolved from Mareep while training in western Johto.
Iggly
Igglybuff, the Balloon Pokémon. Igglybuff's resiliant body allows it to bounce endlessly once it's been put in motion. Once it starts bouncing, it becomes impossible to stop. Igglybuff's vocal chords are not sufficiently developed. It would hurt its throat if it were to sing too much. This Pokémon gargles with freshwater from a clean stream.

Item: Sitrus Berry (lacking a neck, it's in a woven pouch around one... arm. Paw. Thing)

The newest of Sheik's Pokemon, he's still in the process of training her - as she doesn't know any damaging moves yet, he'd usually prompt her to use one of her status moves, then switch her out for another more powerful one immediately afterwards. (Only one more level until she learns Pound!)
